Assessment:

Assessment in BTEC Science aims to capture the progress students are making at strategic points throughout the academic year. This enables teachers to know which topics, or aspects of topics to re-teach, which were not grasped first time. The Question Level Analysis papers produced allow both students and teachers to clearly identify gaps in their knowledge and through effective feedback students can resolve misconceptions and develop further knowledge and skills.
