During these difficult times, we understand that you may be seeking further support for your children with SEND.


The links below may be of interest to you, and offer support and advice whilst we are away from College.

PIAS  now offer a dedicated phone line for parents seeking advice, support and effective behavioural strategies to help with the challenges posed by the school closures.

PIAS (Plymouth Information, Advice and Support for SEND) have a team of dedicated facilitators skilled in a wide range of parenting programmes and behavioural strategies from birth to the teenage years.

They are on hand to provide help, advice, support and a friendly ear from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Call PIAS on 01752 258933 and select option 2.

Online Parenting Talk: Helping your Teens and Teenagers with their Big Emotions during these Difficult Times

If you or anyone you are working with are interested, please join us.

Are your tweens and teens struggling with this continuous enforced family life? Are they missing connections with theirs friends?

Are you struggling with their bad behaviour, moodiness, sadness and anger?

Join Dr Clare Gates, a specialist in working with teenagers and a fellow COS-P Facilitator, to understand how we can see beyond these frustrations, understand their brains abit more and help our children understand what is driving their behaviour.

Together we can validate their feelings and big emotions and support them to process them. Building resilience that will help them, not just with their relationship with us, but with all their relationships throughout their lives.

Venue: Zoom Online platform

Time: 8.00-9.00pm. Don't worry if you can't join at this time, register and we will send you a link to watch at a later stage.
