Throughout the period of COVID-19 College closure, we were keen to encourage our students to maintain some kind of focus. Naturally, we wanted them to complete school work but we also wanted them to spend some time being creative and developing their skills on projects of their own choosing. We were inspired to run a Lockdown Art Challenge by one of our parents, who suggested it, after seeing the joy that creativity brings to her daughter.
I am delighted to announce that the winner of the SJH Art Challenge is Year 11 student, Autumn, who continued to submit entries over the summer break and really impressed with the range of her inspiration and commitment to trying new mediums. Autumn receives the prize of a Gaomon Professional Graphics Tablet. Worthy runners up are Year 8 students: Hannah Green, Liam and Adam, who all received art equipment.
All prizes have been donated by the Heath family - a huge thank you!
