Since starting Lego interventions, in excess of 80 students have had access to this support.
Lego interventions promote social skill-building, including turn taking, following social rules, collaborative problem solving and sharing, as well as emotional regulation, self-awareness and self-belief. The allocation of specific roles allows students to participate in a structured format which can help young people to feel calm and relaxed as there are clear boundaries and expectations.
Feedback from students and staff has been very positive, highlighting that the skills learnt are being transferred from the intervention into the classroom and wider life.
