BARCLAYS help students to develop Life Skills

Students from years 7, 8 and 9 were given the opportunity to engage with local employers as they found out more about life and money skills as part of the nationwide campaign by the organisation.

Barclays LifeSkills is an employability programme aimed at 11-19 year olds. The motivation behind the programme is to inspire millions of young people and equip them with the key skills to move forward into the 21st century work place.

More than ever, young people need to leave school or college with the broader skills that we know employers look for. The skills that the LifeSkills workshops help develop and provide a firm foundation to help them deal with the challenges they will face.

The sessions were delivered by a professional facilitator from the Transformation Trust.
