Whistlers Young Referee Programme

The Year 8 girls - Darcie, Charlotte, Lyla and Jess have been working on developing their leadership and refereeing skills as part of Whistlers Young Referee Programme which is aimed at girls.

As there has been an increase in girls’ participation there has been a natural increase in demand for referees. Further aims of the programme are to improve the skills of young people who take on refereeing duties within a safe place to practice and develop their skills. The Girls are excellent examples of young role models and we can't wait to see more of their refereeing career in the future.
