Students in Year 10 recently visited Plymouth University to gain insights into university life and degree level education. The day started with an informative session about university studies, providing students an idea of post-secondary education opportunities. They were then taken on a tour of the university campus, absorbing the atmosphere and envisioning themselves as part of the academic community.
The students also enjoyed some independence, dining at the Student Union and exploring the campus. A significant part of the day was interaction with student ambassadors, from whom they gained valuable insights and advice. The visit concluded with a talk on student life and a Q&A session. The students left with a better understanding of higher education, potential career paths, and university financing.
