Meet Simon Francis. Director and Architect at the recently formed Lignum Designs Limited.
Simon is our school Enterprise Adviser, who for the last 2 years has been working closely with our students and staff.
During this time, Simon has been involved in many activities such as mock interviews, employability sessions and student mentoring. This has helped to boost student confidence as well as give them an opportunity to learn about work, employment and the skills that are valued in the workplace.
Simon's Background:
Simon has successfully launched his new business Lignum Designs Limited which has grown in strength since its start in 2018. Prior to that, he was the Associate Director at Capita for over 11 years where he was involved in major developments including the Help For Heroes projects at Headley Court and HMS Drake.
With his extensive business experience and professional networks, Simon is helping us to develop and implement an effective careers strategy that puts opportunities with local employers at the heart of our young people’s education.
