Dodgeball
A true underdog story of dodging, ducking, dipping and diving came to ahead on Monday, with the much anticipated clash between the Maths and Science Departments!
While the Maths team tried to blind us all with game statistics, the Science team had the chemistry on the night taking the contest in explosive style 3-1. Mr Kershaw modestly elected himself as most valuable player!
I would like to thank all the students who donated 20p to watch this athletic affair and of course to the Science and Maths teams who showed such great sportsmanship to raise money for such a worthwhile cause.
Beat the keeper
The beat the keeper challenge was a huge success this year with more students than ever contributing to charity for a penalty. The students contributed a lot of money to a fantastic cause and in return got to take a penalty against year 11 student Jimmy. Jimmy made it extremely hard to score but many students managed to slot the ball into the corners or drive the ball into the roof of the net. Thank you to everyone who took part this year.
