Events of the Holocaust in WWII

On Monday 25th March, Year 9 attended a session with guest speaker Jeanette Marx who gave a unique and powerful insight into the events of the Holocaust in World War II. Jeanette‘s mother survived the Holocaust and the session brought the atrocities of the Nazi regime into sharp focus, with students given the opportunity to ask questions.

Jeanette commented on how respectful and thoughtful the Year 9 students were and how carefully they had considered their questions.

A huge thank you to all staff who supported these sessions and to Jeanette for joining us for a session which has already prompted some excellent conversations and discussions.
