Princess Yachts

On Wednesday our latest cohort of Superkids were invited to visit Princess Yachts for an apprenticeship experience.

The students were introduced to Princess Yachts and given the opportunity to meet training staff and current apprentices. They then had two workshops that saw them make a jigsaw, as part of a carpentry workshop. Their plumbing skills were also put to the test when they had to build a water fixture with no leaks!

One of the highlights was a trip to the factory floor, to see one of the yachts in the very first stages of being built. It was huge and gave them perspective of how much work and skill goes into building a super yacht!

Feedback from Princess Yachts said: "The pupils who joined the workplace visit to Princess Yachts this week, represented themselves and the school to the highest level."

The visit was a great experience, all the students demonstrated our college values and did themselves and the school proud.
