SJH Prefects September 2025

We have had great pleasure this term in announcing our prefects for Cohort 2026. We had 22 successful applicants - all of whom have consistently impressed us with their character and attitude towards schooling in the time they have been with us, as well as an impressive application.

This year, we have divided the Prefects into 3 groups; Rewards, Wellbeing and Prom. The Rewards group will be working with staff to ensure that students in Year 11 who meet our termly focus and demonstrate strong progress are recognised. This will be Year 11 specific and in addition to the school-wide Character Trips.

The Prom group will have responsibility to work with staff to shape their Year 11 Prom, how they feel would best give the cohort a send off this time next year.

The Wellbeing group will students who will gain a sense of feeling from their peers and use this to make sure that we are putting in all the support we can for they Cohort as we navigate the next 12 incredibly important months for them.

They have all been presented with their Prefect ties by Mrs Bevan and Mr Vernon and we can't wait to get started with them!
