Thorpe Park

Following the success of the recent Year 13 Sixth Form reward trip, we are excited to share the wonderful details of our recent Year 12 reward trip to Thorpe Park, where we had an amazing time even though it unexpectedly rained a little bit following the June heatwave.

Despite the rain, our students were able to enjoy all the rides on offer. They fearlessly tackled the exhilarating roller coasters and exciting attractions, undeterred by the weather. The rain couldn't dampen their spirits!

One ride that truly tested our students was the famous Tidal Wave. Despite the imposing drops, they bravely embraced the challenge, even getting soaked by the rain. Laughter echoed as they emerged drenched from head to toe, creating unforgettable memories.

Throughout the day, our students continued to push their limits, facing their fears and seeking thrills. Whether it was the loops of Nemesis Inferno, the gravity-defying Stealth, or the rush of Saw - The Ride, our Year 12 students displayed remarkable courage and a passion for adventure.

We must acknowledge that the late return home tested the resilience of our students. However, their spirits remained high, and the stories they shared upon their arrival reflected the incredible memories they had made.

We would like to express our gratitude to the students for their outstanding behaviour and adaptability in dealing with unexpected circumstances. We also extend our appreciation to the teachers and staff who accompanied the trip, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of everyone involved.

The Year 12 Sixth Form trip to Thorpe Park will be a cherished memory, representing a day of conquering fears, enjoying thrilling experiences, and fostering lasting friendships among classmates. We hope the courage displayed at Thorpe Park will continue to inspire our students in their future endeavours.

Until our next adventure!
