As a Sixth Form student, planning for the future can be a daunting task. With so many options available, it's hard to know where to begin. That's where the UCAS exhibition comes in. Held annually, the UCAS exhibition is a chance for students to explore their post-Sixth Form options in one convenient location. This year's event in Exeter was a resounding success.
Arriving at the exhibition, the Year 12 students were surprised by the sheer number of booths and stalls. However, the event was well-organised, and the layout was easy to navigate. They were able to quickly locate the universities they were interested in and begin speaking with representatives who were able to provide detailed information on each program, including entry requirements and application deadlines.
One of the main benefits of attending the exhibition was the chance to speak with current students. Many universities and colleges had student representatives on hand to answer questions and provide insight into what life is like on campus. This was especially helpful for students who are considering moving away from home for the first time.
In addition to speaking with representatives, the exhibition offered a number of informative workshops and presentations. These covered topics such as financing your education and choosing the right program.
Overall, the annual trip to the UCAS exhibition in Exeter was a great success. Year 12 left feeling much more confident in their post-Sixth Form options and armed with the information needed to make informed decisions.
