UKMT Maths Challenge

This term gave some of our older students the chance to enter into a number of UKMT maths challenges. We began the year with 3 students taking part in the Girls Maths Challenge and Girls Olympiad and finished the term with great success on the Senior Maths Challenge.

These challenges promote problem solving and reasoning and allow our students to see the maths concepts they have learned in problems outside of the classroom. We would like to congratulate all of the 28 students who entered the SMC as this was a tricky challenge, we are pleased to announce that 12 of our students received a bronze or silver certificate!
