On Thursday 8th May our Year 10 catering class were given the opportunity to take part in a practical workshop with two chefs from the Royal Navy. Students had to work in teams to create a two-course meal which was beef burger with chips and a chocolate brownie with Chantilly cream. Students had to focus on their communication and teamwork skills to prepare and cook the meal. The students really enjoyed the session, and the chefs commented on how well the students worked together and presented their finished dishes. A brilliant experience for our catering students and one we hope to do again soon.
