We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Attendance Officer to join the team which leads on attendance management and monitoring systems within and across the school. Key priorities of the role will include the tracking of student attendance and co-ordination and implementation of strategies and support systems to facilitate improved attendance. Working with students, parents, staff and external multi agencies will form an integral part of the role.
You will be required to have experience of working in an educational and/or social care setting with young people. Current knowledge of legislation relating to school attendance would be an advantage.
The ideal candidate will also have an outstanding level of ICT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, mail merge and other ICT packages.
