Enrichment:Extra Curricular
We place strong emphasis on the role of extra-curricular activities in helping to develop our College values of ambition, endeavour and respect within our students.
There is a full range of activities taking place in college. Most of them are after college and many of them are requested by you.
Looking ahead, we are excited to increase our offer international trips abroad as part of our expanding enrichment programme. Some recent examples include our Sir John Hunt ski trip to the Italian Alps for an unforgettable skiing experience, combining physical challenge with cultural discovery. In 2026, students have had the opportunity to visit Gran Canaria, where students explored a unique island environment, and took part in adventurous activities and developed new skills beyond the classroom. This area of our enrichment programme is rapidly expanding with new ideas for trips currently in the planning stages of development - watch this space!

The activities are organised by the staff for your benefit. Try to do at least one activity. When you come to writing up your own CV, you will find that taking part in just one extra-curricular activity will have benefited you enormously.
Please see the table below, note the times, the places and the year groups and if you feel like coming along, see the teacher.
If you have any ideas for clubs and activities which you would like included, please find your pastoral leader or student rep.
